This challenge was presented by both Hip Kits Club and Mercy Tiara so I am hoping it is okay to use it for both. We needed to scraplift ourselves and an older layout we made.
Another challenge all about layers. This one was from Hip Kits Club NSD Challenges. I made sure to take lots of pictures in the airplane and airport this time. I almost never do that and I end up having all of these papers and embellishments with planes that I can't use!
There is only 2 hours left until these Hip Kit Challenges are due. I don't think I will make it! There are so many left. This challenge was to use a big title on a layout.
Next up for the NSD Challenges at Hip Kits Club Forum is a Recipe Challenge. We had to use white cardstock, wood veneer, acetate or vellum die cuts, a doily, a vertical design, and black and white photos.
It felt like a vertical design when I put it all down but now I'm not so sure. Oh well. Done this challenge!
Hip Kits Club had a NSD challenge on their Facebook where you needed to use a grid on your layout. This is my response to the challenge, using various scraps, 2x2 cards, 6x6 papers, and bits and pieces left over from past kits.
Today I started with a sketch challenge from the Hip Kits Club NSD Challenges. It had lots of triangles down the center and some square photos in the middle.
I used a bunch of branding strips and scraps from my stash. I love using those scraps!
The Challenge was to use a stencil in two ways so I used a cotton ball and distress ink over this star stencil that was actually the trash from a board game after I took out all the star chips for the game. Then I used a pen and outlined all the stars.
I kept two other challenges in mind when I pulled out the star stencil: Shimelle's challenge to use red and blue and Mercy Tiara's challenge to create a background.
This challenge from Hip Kits Club required us to use our own handwriting on a layout. I used mine by journaling on the backside of some packaging. I used up the rest of my April Citrus Twist Kit for this challenge. I still have some embellishments left over.
The second challenge from Hip Kits Club NSD Challenges on Facebook was to use yellow as the primary color on a layout. I took out my April Citrus Twist Kit and there was quite a bit of yellow in it! Perfect.
I love how there were no problems in Jamaica, "only a situation". I had never felt so relaxed!
This layout was made for an NSD challenge from the Hip Kits Club on Facebook. The Challenge was to use a visual triangle. I used the last papers from my May Counterfeit Kit on this one and now all I have left are a couple of embellishments. I suppose I will have to get out my April Hip Kit and use that for the rest of the Hip Kits Challenges!
