Make Pretty Things Together

This challenge comes from a Hip Kits Club Facebook Page. It was a sketch, very simple, using two small square photos and a 3x4 card and large title. I used one of the Hip Kits to make my layout about my son helping me make some decorations for my upcoming wedding. He was so excited to help.

I am late on some of these challenges! Here is a final one I did for the Weekend Crop (you know, from two weeks ago) using frames. I don't typically use so many in one layout, but I have a lot of these in my die cuts drawer so it was nice to use some up!

I did this layout for a challenge to scrapbook with a large photo. 

Memories

For this challenge from the Online Scrapbooking Weekend, we had to scrapbook using an older photo. This is one from when I was a little girl, standing with my parents before my first holy communion. I don't normally scrapbook pictures from when I was so young but I'm glad I was able to find one for this challenge! 

So Funny

For this Challenge we needed to make a layout using color blocking techniques but with patterned paper. I'm not sure if I completely succeeded, but I like the way it turned out anyway! I used quite a bit from Shimelle's True Stories line for this layout. 

The pictures are from Christopher's 5th birthday where we took him to this Comedy Club that does improv with little kids. They got to go on stage and it was just so cute to watch. 

Look Up at the Stars

Working on last week's Online Scrapbooking Weekend I needed to scrapbook something that had some value to me. 

I went with some good advice from a mother to her son. I was excited to use a cut file from Paper Issues  for this layout because I never use a die cutting machine but I've borrowed one from my mother and I have to say I loved using it!

I was beyond excited to have an excuse to stay in my craft room this weekend to do some layouts for the Online Scrapbooking Weekend! 

The first challenge was to pick one or more of the weekly challenges we have been doing and make a new page. We could pick from using a selfie, hearts, mixing old and new products, a monochromatic color scheme, and globes and maps. 

I decided to do it all!
