This sketch at the SBC blog used an 8x10 photo. I was excited to use some sports themed products up! Their colors are black adn orange so I tried to make sure to include that.

SS16 Sketch 08: Sweet Smiles
For this layout, I used some paint color cards for all the purple shades. I'm always looking for purple so this was a fun way to get that color on my page! I used the Sizzlin' Summer 16 Sketch 8 for my inspiration.

SS16 Sketch 6: So Happy
I loved this sketch from the Sizzlin' Summer sketches!! It is different than I normally scrapbook and I had to play with angles and that was super fun.
SS16 Sketch 5: Love, We're Engaged!
I did this layout for one of the Sizzlin' Summer sketches on the SBC blog. I used my August Counterfeit Kit and some photos from the engagement shoot we had last August!
Sketch 493: Hello, Beautiful
This layout was done in response to the Sketch Challenge 493 on the SBC blog. I used my August Counterfeit Kit. I was also trying to use my pristine stamps, which was a challenge from a class I am taking - but I totally messed up one of the words after the layout was done! Oh, well. At least my friend looks pretty in her dress.

SS 16 Sketch 4: My Heart is Full
Sketch #4 of the Sizzlin' Summer sketches at the Scrapbook Challenges blog included a large 8x8 photo. I changed that up with four 4x4 photos. I used my August Counterfeit Kit, Isn't She Lovely, to do this layout. I have been meaning to get these pictures of my little man as a ring bearer at my brother's wedding for a couple of years now! Finally got some of them scrapped!
Oh, and a 3 year old in shoes that can clip-clap all the way up the aisle is hilarious.

SS 16 Sketch 3: Dream
For this challenge, I followed along with the SBC Blog's Sizzlin' Summer Sketch 3. I used my August Counterfeit Kit. I had included a lot of dress making papers and decided to scrapbook some photos of one of my dress fittings. The sketch had these long vertical lines that reminded me of rulers, so it all worked together!
SS16 Sketch 2 It Is A Sunny Day
I wanted to use the Sunshine and Happiness scraps I had leftover from Simple Stories. The SS16 Sketch 2 on the SBC blog was perfect for scraps!
Sketch Challenge: Gallaghers
I was very excited to see that the SBC blog was hosting a Sizzlin' Summer of Sketches challenge all August long. I took on the first one and changed up the sketch a little to include 2 4x6 pictures instead of an 8x10 picture.

Summer
Next up is a sketch challenge from SBC. Exciting news - they are hosting their 5th annual Sizzlin' Summer of Sketches which basically means there will be 20 sketches this month! I'm very excited since this is my first year following along with their blog. Yay!
I stayed pretty true to the sketch. I just loved this background paper. I don't normally go for the real-scene images on my papers but this one was stunning. And it already had a title on it for me! It is part of a paper pack I purchased at Michael's from Craft Smith. Those are my siblings.

Simply Amazing
For This layout, I used my Counterfeit Kit (Wildest Dreams). I was happy to use a lot more of the stash I put in there and everything went together well!
I'm also using a sketch from the Scrapbook Challenge Blog. (sketch 477) It had two square photos separated down the middle with a couple of blocks of paper behind them.
I loved using that border on the bottom of the page with the quote. It fit my mommy well :)
Those butterflies have adhesive in the center and pop dots on the side to make them look like they are flying off the page.

Goof
One more Sketch Challenge for the SBC March Challenges and I think I'm all done until they start posting April Challenges. Oh my goodness, April is tomorrow! Lots of things are happening in April. I hope I still have time to scrap!
*I was the passenger in the car, not the driver. Just wanted to put that out there! :P
The Goof behind me is my only niece (as of right now). She is a lot of fun. We made silly faces and sent them to my fiance.

You Are Amazing
For this Challenge from the SBC blog, we needed to be inspired by the Tribal Trend.
I used different Glitz papers and embellishments. I love the colors!
I think I only have one or two more March Challenges for the SBC ones to get done if there is still time. Hopefully tomorrow!
Lake Placid
This layout was done for another Sketch Challenge on the Scrapbook Challenge Blog. The entries are due tomorrow so I'm working hard to get as much as I can done!
I used these cute 2x2 cards I had, but I can't remember who made them or where they came from... Anyway, it was fun to get most of them used on a page!
The lovely couple is my oldest sister and her husband. I took this trip solo and so they were stuck with me as a third wheel. At least now I have this layout to make up for it.
Destination Adventure
Today's layout was made using this sketch from the Scrapbook Challenge Blog. I loved the sketch because it used a line of photos down the center and I knew I could substitute a 4x6 card for one of the pictures. Anyone else have so many of these cards and not doing Project Life? I do pocket page style albums (one for Christmas and one for my high school pictures) but I don't do the standard Project Life everyday. I still somehow keep collecting these cards!
I used Shimelle's True Stories line and a map from the Sesame Place theme park (Langhorne) to show where we were when the photos were taken.
I busted out my Cuttlebug, too! I love using tools that I don't think to use with every layout! This pinked circle set is one of my favorites. This one is called Darice Nesting Scallop Circles. As you can see, they are more sharp than a scallop circle, but who am I to judge?
Thank you for stopping by to see my work!

Rainy Rome
It might seem like I'm on a roll right now. I'm determined to keep up with the current challenges on just a couple of blogs and scrapping makes me happy and calm!
This is a layout I made for SBC's Sketch #473.
Bachelorette
I'm so excited about how much inspiration I'm getting from these challenges! Here is another sketch from the SBC blog that had me scrapbooking an old photo I wasn't sure would ever make it into an album.
Even more exciting is that this was made from scraps from my other pages and ridiculously old baseball stickers I got from my very first days of scrapbooking some time between 2004 and 2005. I call this a win.

Family Forever
Worked on this layout tonight for another sketch challenge on the Scrapbook Challenges blog.
I usually only use one or two 4x6 pictures on a page. I love how these challenges have been making me change it up! I am on a roll!
These pictures are of my sweet nephew holding my son. He was just so happy to get to hold him. Nowadays I don't think he would be too excited! They're getting big now!
Hello Adorable Boy
Moving right along with the March SBC Challenges, this time I took on a Pattern Challenge using Chevron.
This photo is over 6 years old. I am really trying hard not to print any new photos until I scrap more of the ones I already have printed.
Smile
I've done another challenge from the SBC blog, this time using a mood board. I used my March Citrus Twist kit.
