Even though I was getting married last month and going on a honeymoon and had less time to think about scrapbooking, I really enjoyed working with my first Counterfeit Kit in April. I used up all of the papers and a good amount of the many embellishments I included.
This month I am joining in the fun again with the May Kit Challenge.
I have to say, I was loving the colors and overall feel of the inspiration. I'm in the U.S. so I have never worked with the Quirky Kits before but I think they look amazing.
Right away I notice a few items that I already had in my stash, including the 12x12 sticker sheet and at least one of the bokah papers. (I just used the teal one for a project recently so I ran out of that one!)
I am planning on using a lot of pictures from my recent honeymoon in Jamaica with this kit because the colors were so bright and fun. Keeping that in mind, I am calling this kit One Love. You can hear that song any time day or night in Jamaica.
I tried to match papers as best I could from both A sides and B sides. I threw in a couple of papers I just liked for fun.
The original kit included a white and natural card stock and some vellum paper so I included those as well.
Finally, I have lots and lots of embellishments: striped letters, those color blocked wood veneer, gold shimmery tape, lots of badges and ephemera and tags... I am determined to use as much as possible!
And that's everything for this kit! So excited to start using it- especially for NSD!
Congratulations on your marriage. Your kit is wonderful, with lots of fun items and papers to use.Enjoy reliving those papers as you scrap.
