iNSD! Scrapbook.com Challenge # 5
I almost didn't participate in this challenge because I wasn't sure if I had any party type things to put on a layout. The challenge is called Party on the Page. I found the party hat I saved from my sister's wedding and took the top off and put it on this page. There we go! A party supply on my page.
iNSD! 2 Peas Challenge #2
The Second 2peas challenge was a Member-based sketch where you had to get inspiration from a sketch. I followed much of the sketch, putting a border strip at the top, journaling along the side, a large box with two photos and a title and circle embellishment. I changed the size of the photos and kept my layout pretty simple. I also got to use these Roma stickers I purchased without thinking (because I couldn't figure out how to use them!) and this beautiful Roma stamp from Studio Calico.
I'm loving that these challenges are making me use a ton of my stash!

iNSD! Scrapbook.com Challenge #4
This challenge is called Ways to Washi . It included a video, which I'm sorry I didn't watch but I want to get all of the challenges done today! I will watch it later on this week. For my layout I used mostly My Minds Eye papers. I used two flowers from Crate Paper and some washi, of course! I made my own patterned paper out of blue washi, used pink polka dot washi on paper and made heart diecuts, then used black washi to ground my title and embellishments.
iNSD Scrapbook.com Challenge #3
I am trying to get as many of the scrapbook.com challenges done as I can before it ends tonight. Here is my layout for Insta-Scrap It All Day Challenge where you had to use 4 square photos (any size). These pictures weren't from my insta-stash but I just cropped them into squares. No big. Also, pretty obvious design- lots of squares.
iNSD! Scrapbook.com Challenge #2
The second challenge for Scrapbook.com was a sketch it all day challenge. You had to look at a sketch and create a layout using it as inspiration. It was a basic grid. I don't normally scrap in grids but it was a nice change! The background is from Yes Please (play) and the cards are all from a set I got from Michael's but I'm afraid I do not know who makes them! The stickers are all Bo Bunny Mamarazzi. Love mixing new with old and things I find at the craft store that aren't big designers. Also, there are three seashell stickers behind the pictures. They are incredibly old. One of those first sticker packs I ever bought that had all the stickers you needed for an entire season. I'm terrible at throwing things away so to make up for it I find a way to use this stuff I have hoarded, even though I don't use stickers too much!
iNSD! Shimelle Challenge #2
I just realized that Shimelle's challenges aren't due til next week, while Two Peas and Steal Network's are due tomorrow night and Scrapbook.com are due tonight. I guess I'm going to have to reprioritize the day!
Here is my layout for Shimelle's second challenge, Use 4x6 Photos. Which is almost every layout for me! Here is the simple one I did today with Dear Lizzy Neopolitan products (from a 12 x 12 pad from target!) and some green gems I added.

I really need to find my camera or something. My phone camera is terrible! These are pictures of me and my older sister (I'm on the left!) at my baby brother's wedding. I just thought the shoes were perfect for it since we were all dressed up! Of course, you can't see our shoes, but whatever!
iNSD! Steal Network Challenge #2
The challenge for this layout is called Your favorite song... now. My layout is inspired by the song "The Tip of the Iceberg" by Owl City. I just recently got Owl City's CDs and while this song is older and not a single I love it. Also, I realize it is no longer winter, but wanted to scrap this pretty picture from my living room window. Besides, what better way to use up all those christmasy papers I got a few months back? The paper here is from a 12 x12 Crate Paper Peppermint pad I bought at AC Moore and the smaller papers are from a My Minds Eye 6x6 pad, which I've been desperately trying to use in most of my layouts lately because I somehow accumulated so many. Then there are stickers from Echo Park's Dear Santa collection and a really old Cosmo Cricket snow flake tag.
iNSD! 2Peas Challenge
This one came together really fast! This challenge was called Focus on Photos and it was from Twopeasinabucket.com. I used my Studio Calico March kit again for most of the items, and then added some enamal dots from the Boy Crazy collection by My Minds Eye and the Amy Tangerine camera paper and punched out view finders from Echo Park's Toy Box.
So to meet the challenge of having photo/camera related products, I have two types of camera paper, film strip and photo slide transparency die cuts, view finder circles, the smile title card, the memories with camera journaling sticker, the three cork camera embellishments, and two different camera washi tapes lined up next to eachother. Along with my polaroid pictures, I think I fully met this challenge!!!

iNSD! Scrapbook.com Challenge
I'm back with another challenge, this time from Scrapbook.com. This challenge was called Don't Be So Negative. You had to use a shaped punch or die on background and put paper beneath it to make a negative. Here is my entry!
I used my Studio Calico kit from March and added a Becky Higgens Jade Card that I got from HSN. I like the negative look!

iNSD! Shimelle's Challenge #1
Quite a few blogs are hosting challenges this weekend. I don't know if I can keep up with them all! Obviously I have to join in to Shimelle's. I've never actually posted any of my inspired by her layouts anywhere really since obviously I never update this blog, but there is a first time for everything and as I said in my first post she is my absolute favourite! (I put the U in that word just for her!)
Shimelle is hosting some challenges on her blog and here is my layout for the first challenge, "Scrap in Pink!"
I have a son and have never been much of a pink person myself, but it is a lovely color (and actually my three year old son's favorite, haha) and so this challenge was fun! A color I don't get to use too often!
I bought the Lucky Charm paper pad on a whim and was sad that I can't see the names of the papers, so this background is a Lucky Charm paper from the paper pad.
Then everything else is scraps from my scrap bin. I think most of it is Crate Paper? And lovely vellum from the Neopolitan collection, and some stickers from here and there.
This picture is just so odd. My older sister is doing my hair for my graduation party and you'd have to know us I guess to realize that this is just not typical for my family. Perhaps I will add some journaling about just that!
Now on to another challenge!

iNSD! Challenges- Steal Network Challenge #1
Obviously I fail at keeping up with blogs. Honestly, I blame my terrible phone camera and lack of computer. Shhh- I'm using my work laptop for today. So I wanted to be included in the National (international) Scrapbook Day Challenges because obviously I love challenges! So while they aren't the best photos of my pages, at least I tried :).
Over here on StealNetwork's Scrapbook blog they already have their challenges posted! Here is my response to Challenge #1 - "5" which called for 5 different pattern papers, 5 embellishments, and 5 word- based items.
My five patterned papers (4 were scraps from other projects) included:
We R Memory Keepers Love Struck Love Lines paper (background blue polka dot)
Pebbles Happy Go Lucky Delight (pink swirly paper)
Echo Park Everyday Eclectic paper from a 6x6 pad (pink starfish paper)
Theresa Collins - the hot pink paper (I used it too many times to know what happened to the branding strip...)
Amy Tangerine Yes Please - the blue chevron paper
My five embellishments are:
Pink polka dotted washi tape
Blue chevron ribbon from American Crafts
Queen and Co pink twine
Pebble Candy Dot buttons
American Crafts brads
My five word-based items are:
the title - made from an old thicker font- Bumble
the journaling on the October Afternoon label stickers
The My Minds Eye word sticker "sweet"
MME word sticker phrase
2 October Afternoon birthday word stickers
In conclusion, that was a lot of stuff for one layout, but a pretty sweet stash buster!!
